Managing assets, equipment, or product batches requires accurate, sequential identification. LabelFlow Pro simplifies serial number workflows by letting you generate sequences, bind them to templates, and print scan-ready labels in one process.
Manual numbering is slow and prone to errors. LabelFlow Pro automates the sequence so you can focus on the physical labeling job instead of checking for duplicates.
Follow these specific workflow steps to configure and generate an automated sequence for your next labeling project.
Open the properties panel. Define your start value, step interval (e.g., increment by 1), and character padding. If your tracking system requires specific prefixes or suffixes (like "ASSET-001" or "SN-402-A"), enter them here.
Drag a text box, Code128 barcode, or QR code onto your canvas. Instead of typing static characters, bind the element's value directly to your Serial Counter. The display will update to reflect the first value.
Enter the total number of labels you need to generate for this batch (e.g., 500 units). Click the Preview button to visually scrub through the list and verify that sequence values don't break their boundaries.
Once verified, send the print job. Because labels are generated locally in the browser, there is no delay communicating with a cloud server. Your thermal printer will output the serialized batch immediately.
